Garage B is hands down one of my favorite venues in Boston! It truly is a blank slate for any type of party or vibe you want! Not only do the blank walls allow you to change the space for whatever you need, but as a Boston florist, I love that the venue is very open to hanging floral installations, my favorite type of floral design to create for my clients.

Garage B is a modern event venue perfect for any upcoming event/celebration you want to plan, whether it’s a wedding, corporate event, birthday party, family celebration, or something different. You’ll find it at the Charles River Speedway, a revitalized 1940s garage with plenty of space for indoor and outdoor events.
Hanging Floral Installation Examples
I’ve had the chance to create two distinctive hanging floral installations for two different clients at Garage B, each unique to the client and their event. Garage B makes it easy to create a hanging floral installation.
Remember, a hanging floral installation is meant to be so much more than just something pretty to look at. With each floral installation that I create, I intend for it to serve as the connecting piece, tying everything at your event together.
The first hanging floral installation I created was for a wedding at Garage B. This installation was in the form of an arch, inspired by Art Deco windows. The floral installation was designed to look as if it were floating in the air.
To create this illusion and the installation, I used fan palms to evoke the Art Deco aesthetic, and colored some of them gold to add an opulent vibe. I also added yellow vinyl to the garage windows behind the ceremony, to replicate golden hour.
Another hanging floral installation I created was a floating floral sculpture for a 50th surprise birthday party. The birthday girl's partner hired me to create a floral backdrop with florals that felt romantic, sexy, and straight out of a speakeasy cocktail lounge.
We added a neon sign with the client's pet name for their partner, which made for an incredible photo backdrop at this luxurious birthday bash.
