Althea À La Carte is a simplified offering for people who want stunning, expressive florals—just on a smaller scale and without the price tag of custom designs or installations.
It’s perfect for celebrations with smaller floral budgets, and includes all the joyful blooms without the full-service setup or teardown. Think: personal flowers, statement ceremony pieces, and charming centerpieces, all available for pickup or delivery.
Whether you're planning a courthouse “I do,” a backyard bash, or an intimate dinner party, you can still have florals that feel magical and meaningful—without the pressure of a big production. À La Carte is designed to make things easy and fun in just 4 quick steps:

Once you’ve chosen your items, you’ll fill out a short questionnaire.
This is your chance to tell me everything! Who you are, what you love, and what flowers you’d rather leave for the grocery store. ;)
Then you’ll complete your order by checking out right then and there. No need to wait for a custom quote. You see it, you order it, you're done!

SWOON & CELEBRATE!
Once your order is confirmed, I’ll follow up with all the final details for pickup or delivery—so your florals are officially a checked box on your to-do list!

We offer delivery within a 25-mile radius of Stoneham, MA. Delivery fees range between $75-125 and are calculated based on distance. You’re also welcome to pick up your florals directly from our studio for free—just select that option in the questionnaire.
Please note we deliver between 11am-4pm. For delivery outside that timeframe, please contact us. Additional fees will apply.

À La Carte is all about keeping things simple, so everything is designer’s choice from a set menu of offerings. I don’t offer custom designs or moodboards as part of this service.

Althea A La Carte dates are currently through New Years Eve 2025. The sooner you know you want to book the better to ensure availability for your date.

Our asymmetrical gold pillars are available to rent as a display base for your statement florals. We’ll coordinate delivery and pickup times with you in advance. Rental items must be returned in good condition within 48 hours, or a replacement fee may apply. Be sure to review our rental terms for full details.

Delivery includes unloading your flowers into your venue or home, but setup is up to you! Since Althea À La Carte is a simplified service, we don’t offer on-site styling or setup.
We recommend asking a trusted friend or family member to help place your designs—they’ll be packed and labeled to make it easy.

Yes to colors! While all designs are designer’s choice, you’ll have the chance to share your overall vibe and color palette in the questionnaire. You’re welcome to suggest flower types you love, but please know we can’t guarantee specific blooms—everything depends on the season and what’s looking best that week.
That said, we definitely want to know if there are any flowers you don’t want to see. Whether it’s a floral ick or a firm no, we’ll always avoid your no-go blooms.

All sales are final after 24 hours of placing your order, and we do not offer refunds for cancellations. If your date changes, reach out as soon as possible—we’ll do our best to accommodate your new celebration date if we’re available

While we take great care in designing and handling each piece, we understand that things happen. If there’s a problem with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery and include a photo so we can take a look. We want to make things right, but please note that it's the customer's responsibility to follow the included care instructions to keep your blooms looking their best.

Yes! You’re absolutely welcome to pick up or have your florals delivered the day before your celebration. This can be especially helpful for marriers heading out of town or getting a jump on the weekend festivities.
We’ll provide detailed care instructions based on the season and weather conditions, but please note—we can’t be held liable for the condition of the flowers if those care guidelines aren’t followed. For items that don’t have a water source (like boutonnieres, corsages, or hair combs), we highly recommend storing them in a refrigerator overnight to keep everything fresh and fabulous for your big day.

The Althea studio is located at 22R Spencer St, Stoneham MA 02180.
Please note Althea is a floral studio, and not a retail space, so we are open by appointment only.

For most À La Carte orders, a standard sedan with an open backseat and trunk space is plenty! If your order includes larger pieces—like ceremony florals, multiple centerpieces, pillar rentals, or lots of personals—we recommend using an SUV to give everything a bit more breathing room.
No need to bring anything with you—we’ll pack all of your designs in boxes or containers to keep them secure and snug for the ride. If we think you’ll need extra space based on your order, we’ll be sure to give you a heads up ahead of time.
Pro tip: During the summer months, we strongly recommend using a vehicle with air conditioning to keep your blooms cool and happy on the ride home!
